Dzongri Trekking Tour

Day 01 : Arrive Bagdogra - Gangtok

Rumtek Monastery, Gangtok

On arrival at Bagdogra airport, meet & greet with our representative & transfer to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok & check in at Hotel. Day is free for leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 : Gangtok

In the morning, after breakfast take sightseeing tour of Gangtok, Visit; Jhakri water falls, Rumtek Monastery, Research institute of Tibetology, Droul Chorthen, Flower show & Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 : Gangtok - Yuksum

Have breakfast at Hotel & Later transfer to Yuksum. It is the previous capital of Indian state Sikkim The journey between Gangtok & Yuksum covers the splendid narrow valley attaching the river Teesta by bridge. Stopping at Jorethang for lunch & further proceed to Yuksum en route see beautiful landscape covers by rice fields. Arrive Yuksum & check in to Huts, which is specially arrange for trekkers.You can see splendid views of Kabru & Mount Pandim from Yuksum. Overnight in Yuksum.

Day 04 : Yuksum - Tshoka (3050 Meter)

Today commence trek to Tshoka from Yuksum. The trek between Yuksum to Tshoka takes 06 Hrs & it is approximately 18 Kms. The walk takes you through thick jungle of Oak & Pine. After covering river Prek chu, we require to climb up straight seventy degree uphill, which is one of the most tough stage in the whole trek. Arrive Bakhim. The trek from Bakhim crosses through the trees of Magnolia & Rhododendron. Arrive Tshoka & Chek in to Lodge or Tent. Overnight at Tshoka.

Day 05 : Tshoka - Dzongri (4020 Meters)

Today begin trek to Dzongri from Tshoka, which is still vertical climbing & it takes five hours passing through thick jungle of Rhododendron, where you can view more than four hundred species of flowers. On the route there is a place name Deorali Dara, which gives splendid view of mountains. After that we will reach at Phethang for a short break. Further climb to Dzongri. Here plants are thin & we shall find only small shrubs & bushes. Overnight at Tourist Hut.

Day 06 : Dzongri

Today early in the morning ,we take a short walk to Dzongri Top (Dabla Khang), from here you can see magnificent view of all peaks including, Frey, Kabru, Koktang, Ratong, Chandra peak & the Kabru Dome. Overnight at Tourist Hut.

Day 07 : Dzongri - Tshoka

Today back to Toshka. Arrive at Tshoka. Overnight stay in Tshoka

Day 08 : Tshoka - Yuksum

Today back to Yuksum, this would be the last day of Dzongri trek. Overnight at Yuksum.

Day 09 : Yuksum - Bagdogra

Morning after breakfast, drive to Bagdogra airport to board flight for onwards destination.
